大学時代に広告マーケティングを専攻しPR 領域に興味を持つようになる。在学時に1年間休学しオーストラリアはシドニーで過ごし、独学で映像と写真を学ぶ。アーティスト写真やMVを撮りはじめ、短編ドキュメンタリーを上映するエキシビション兼バーを開催した後に、TANKに入社。

While in college, Nakano majored in advertising and marketing and became interested in the PR field. He took a year off from school to spend time in Sydney, Australia, where he taught himself video and photography. Nakano began shooting artist photos and music videos, and held an exhibition and bar that screened short documentaries before joining TANK.
